\nThe International Union of Operating Engineers Local 727 (\u201cLocal 727,\u201d \u201cwe,\u201d \u201cus,\u201d or \u201cour\u201d) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of its members\u2019 personal information. \nThe International Union of Operating Engineers Local 727 is responsible for all personal information under its control. The Business Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with this Privacy Policy.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Personal information is collected and used solely for legitimate union purposes, including:<\/p>\n

    • Managing union membership<\/li>\n
    • Communicating with members<\/li>\n
    • Issuing dues notices and invoices<\/li>\n
    • Maintaining accurate membership records<\/li>\n
    • Administering union benefits and operations<\/li>\n
    • Website and system security<\/li>\n
    • Legal proceedings, including the grievance process under collective agreements, labour arbitrations, and matters before the Labour Board or courts<\/li>\n
    • Such other uses as determined by the Business Manager or those designated by the Business Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \nPersonal information is collected, used, and disclosed with the knowledge and consent of members, except where otherwise permitted or required by law. Member consent is required so that the Local can properly represent its members. If a member does not provide consent, it may affect the Local\u2019s ability to represent its members.\n<\/p>\n

      \nUse of the website, CRM, and related systems is also governed by the Website and CRM Terms of Use, which users must accept as a condition of access.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      4. AUTHORIZED ACCESS AND USE<\/h2>\n

      Access to non-public member information is strictly limited to:<\/p>\n

      • Members accessing their own information<\/li>\n
      • Authorized union officers, agents, stewards, employees, and staff, as designated by the Business Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \nAll access is granted at the discretion of the Business Manager and may be suspended or revoked at any time without notice.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

        5. DATA SHARING<\/h2>\n

        Local 727 does not sell or rent member information. Information may be shared only:<\/p>\n

        • With the International Union, as required for official purposes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          \nRequests or complaints should be directed to the Business Manager, who will investigate and respond within a reasonable time.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
